Master Agreement
The Carpenters Master Agreement sets the ground rules for the labor-management relationship. It implements several innovative programs that foster cooperation between the two parties and realistically addresses present and future market conditions for employment, wages, health and welfare, training, vacation, annuity and other benefits.
To maintain and enforce the Carpenters Master Agreement, the Union has a statewide network of offices, staff and stewards to provide members with on-the-job representation. Personnel attend training classes on a regular basis and are committed to the integrity of the Master Agreement and the Union's membership services.
Trade Contracts
Trade contracts cover carpenters, drywall workers and lathers, garage door specialists, plasterers and tapers.
In addition to the carpenters and drywall trades, we provide contracts that cover residential carpenters, residential drywall workers, shop*, truss workers, garage door specialists, warehousemen and allied craft workers, including laborers and residential laborers.
* Shop agreements are specialty agreements. Each contractor will negotiate a stand-alone contract with the Carpenters Union.
